Pregnancy Massage & Aromatherapy

Pregnancy and aromatherapy treatments in Hull by experienced former midwife and IFPA accredited aromatherapist

Firstly, I’d like to reassure you that I’m well qualified to provide pregnancy massage and aromatherapy. My training with the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (IFPA) took 2 years and I now have over 15 years experience providing pregnancy massage and aromatherapy. Furthermore, I’ve undergone advanced training in massage and the use of essential oils for pregnancy and birth. As a member of the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (IFPA) I must adhere to their strict code of conduct. This ensures that my aromatherapy practice is both safe and current.

My massage and aromatherapy clients also benefit from my advanced midwifery training and experience. This training included studying the physiological and emotional changes that resulted from pregnancy. As a result, I take an holistic approach with my clients and provide therapeutic treatments.

Furthermore, my skills and experience allow me to prioritise both yours and your baby’s safety at all times. I’m well qualified to identify any risk factors related to pregnancy and when massage and aromatherapy should be avoided or adapted.

Finally, what happens when you book and attend for your massage or treatment? Firstly, you will be put at ease and a full consultation will be taken. This will help determine what you require from the massage session. The consultation will also allow us to choose the safe and appropriate essential oils for you.  Some women want a session focussed on relaxation, others need specific therapeutic work to address particular discomforts. Many women need a little of both.

Receiving a pregnancy massage is really beneficial for you (and your baby!). It can be an indulgent treat but also provides huge health benefits.
